Sonia

Registered Nurse

Sonia joined Tura Beach Medical Centre as a Practice Nurse in June 2022. Having completed her Bachelor of Nursing Science through University of Technology Sydney in 2019, she began nursing career working in Wesley Mission, a non-profit organisation in Sydney. During her time there she gained valuable experience working in aged care, palliative care and community work.

This is Sonia’s first time in a Practice Nurse role and is grateful to have been given the opportunity to enrich her career in this field. She is looking forward to experiencing the diversity that practice nursing offers along with continuing to develop her nursing career. Sonia enjoys the opportunity to provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families. She particularly enjoys areas of chronic disease management, wound management, and surgical procedures.
